The Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU, on Monday announced the suspension of it strike action.
According to the ASUU President, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, the calling off the strike action is on condition that was met by the government.
The Academic staff union of universities and the federal government have signed a memorandum of understanding five weeks after the fifth open Concialition meeting.
Minister of Labour and Employment Chris Ngige assures ASUU that the government will ensure implementation of the said agreement to allow students to back to school.
