A gang of armed robbers reportedly stormed a branch of Skye Bank, Plc in Ifon, the headquarters of the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Thursday, October 26.
Two police officers lost their lives during the fire exchange that ensued between the robbers and the security operatives guarding the bank and made away with an unspecified amount.
An eyewitness who begged to be anonymous, claimed that the robbers were about 15 in number.
He also said they stormed the bank at about 3pm when the branch had stopped transaction with customers.
