Ibadan based technology company - Fastech Systems, is kicking off the festive period with her #FreeBlogApp campaign. The campaign, which is targeted at bloggers in the country, involves developing Android mobile applications for bloggers for free.
As more and more bloggers are emerging in the country, the technology company deemed it fit to support them tech-wise, through her Aim of Innovation for Sustained Development.
AbdulAfeez Fasasi, the Fastech Systems operation manager said that it's is necessary for bloggers in Nigeria to have a mobile app in order meet the standard of their counterparts abroad.
"We noticed bloggers in Nigeria, really don't have their blogs on mobile apps and our recent survey showed that only 20% of blogs have a mobile app, whether Android or other operating system. 70% of respondent to the survey said the cost of getting mobile apps is on the high side, as such they ignore it" He said.
"We are developing free Android apps for bloggers at no cost. We are doing this, based on our core objective of providing innovations for sustainable development " He added.
